New Doll, introducing Melody.

i finally have a new doll finished and up for grabs! This is Melody, and she measures 15" long. She is a bit petite compared to some of my other girls. You may remember her from a previous post. i completed the doll 'portion of her' many moons ago. Infact, i wouldn't be surprised if a full year has passed.

We have spent most of Feb. snowed in, giving me some opportunity and a bit of motivation to work on all the little details that really make these dolls special.

Melody is dressed in a backless, classic style strip dress with eyelet trim. It ties behind the neck and is removable. Underneath she's wearing matching flower print bloomers, and black felt Maryjane style slippers.

She comes with a crocheted cap that is removable. The cap is black with teal trim, and has a teal star pattern on the top.

She's wearing a hand beaded mandala necklace, that has a bead and loop closure. It should be removed if the doll is for a young child, and it could be a choking hazard.

The felt shoes are made with eco felt (recycled pop bottles) and are hand stitched.

Melody, also comes with a crocheted market bag that contains a small 'bunch' of carrots and an apple. Fresh from the local farmers market. :)

Melody with be posted for sale soon on my website. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
