Hey folks! My friends Jaime and Rob of Bee Kind Family Farm have started a kickstarter fund to help kickstart their Apiary & honey business. If you are not familiar with Kickstarter it's a pretty cool idea. Project creators set a funding goal and deadline. If people like a project, they can pledge money to make it happen. Funding on Kickstarter is all-or-nothing — projects must reach their funding goals to receive any money.
Backing a project is more than just giving someone money.
It’s supporting their dream to create something that they want to see exist in the world. People rally around their friends’ projects, fans support people they admire, and others simply come to Kickstarter to be inspired by new ideas.
Bee Kind Family Farm is a homesteading family of 3 located in the Mountains of NW North Carolina. They live in a Solar/ Off Grid home in the Pisgah National Forest where they organic garden, raise chickens and honeybees. They attend the local Farmers Market in the summer selling Honey and produce while connecting with people in the community.
i've known Jaime for many years, i first met her (online) back when she was selling patchwork on the website Back Porch Boutique. It has been amazing to watch their off grid/homesteading journey! They have been an inspiration to so many. They are really great folks and i look forward to seeing their apiary business grow!! Please take a moment to watch the video and check out the kickstarter page for Bee Kind Family Farm.
